The Challenge
As part of the Curiosity Lab initiative, the growing city needed to protect vulnerable road users at intersections and optimize traffic and parking management.
The Solution
IQSIGHT deployed video-as-a-sensor technology, using object detection cameras integrated with CV2X solutions to identify pedestrians and transmit safety data to connected vehicles.
The Results
Drivers receive safety alerts 150 yards before reaching a crosswalk. The system successfully protected over 2,000 pedestrians while simultaneously providing real-time parking data to a resident mobile app.

The Challenge
The City of Peachtree Corners in Georgia operates Curiosity Lab, a globally recognized smart city ecosystem and living laboratory for advanced mobility and connected infrastructure. With steady population growth and a newly expanded trail system, city managers required a reliable way to monitor traffic patterns and protect vulnerable road users across busy intersections.
The Solution
To address these challenges, the city implemented an intelligence-first video security solution that acts as a highly accurate sensor network. Intelligent cameras equipped with deep-learning analytics continuously classify vehicles and detect pedestrians, working seamlessly with connected vehicle technology. When individuals enter a crosswalk, the system instantly broadcasts safety alerts directly to approaching vehicles, providing drivers with advance warning before they even reach the intersection.
